Tylecodon schaeferianus

This South African native has gnarled succulent stems bearing small egg-shaped green leaves. Lavender/pink flowers in winter. Best to wear gloves when handling since it is known to be a poisonous plant. Leaves are very fragile and easily become detached from the stem.
